Nothing Cures Valentine’s Day Loneliness Quite Like a Classic February Flick
Written By: Blake Turner and Nick Dunson
In case you haven’t noticed, February, aka the month of love is here. While many people are focused on candy and flowers, we at the Clawprint News are going to give you some movie suggestions to make your month one to remember.
If you’re looking for fun, laughs, and over the top superhero action this month, Harley Quinn and her partners of crime fly into movie theaters in DC’s newest film, Birds of Prey, on February the 7th. DC’s last few entries into their superhero cinematic universe have been highly successful for the studio, and they hope that their new female led movie can continue this successful trend. Fans and critics alike are highly intrigued by the new film due to the lack of plot details released by DC before the movie’s debut. We here at the Creekview Clawprint news are excited to watch this movie featuring the all-star cast headlined by Margot Robbie and Ewan McGregor.
Another blockbuster flick coming out this month is the highly anticipated Sonic The Hedgehog movie which races into theaters on Valentine's Day. The first trailer for Sonic caused lifelong fans of the video game series to berate the designers of the movie, due to the poor appearance of the main character, Sonic. One Creekview senior, Ryan Carmody, describes the original look of Sonic by stating, “The original Sonic looks like a rabbit, and the design doesn’t do the character justice.” Like Ryan, thousands of devoted fans took to twitter to bash the designers of the film. Due to the poor reactions towards the trailer, the designers of the film worked long hours to make the character look more appealing. Sonic is highlighted by a stellar cast led by the legendary Jim Carrey and Ben Schwartz. We at the Clawprint news are very excited for this new movie, and we recommend Sonic for anyone looking for a fun and exciting adventure!
February does not only have exciting movie releases, but the month is also full of intriguing new seasons of fan favorite TV shows. For the first time in 8 years, the popular cartoon show, Star Wars the Clone Wars, returns to the TV screen on the new Disney Plus streaming service. Lucasfilm and Disney look to recreate the magic that made the series great when it first came out on Cartoon Network. All the voice actors from the first stint of the series reprise their roles in the new and final season of the beloved show. Star Wars the Clone Wars is an intriguing streaming option for Star Wars fans and Star Wars newbies alike.
Another highly anticipated released this month is AMC’s 5th season of the award-winning Better Call Saul. The prequel to the hit Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul follows the titular character, Saul Goodman, and his descent into madness. Bob Odenkirk returns to reprise his role as Saul, and fans look for him to build on his fantastic performance from the first four seasons.
Whether you are looking for a fun flick to watch with your Valentine or looking for a series to binge while single and alone, February is a month full of great new movies and TV shows for even the most hardcore movie fanatic.

Taco Bell's Tasty Treat
By. Krisanne Phillips & Meadow Long
There is rumored to be a new Freeze at Taco Bell, so the Claw Print has gone to investigate for you! The new flavor holds the snazzy name “Electric Blue Raspberry”, but what about the rest?
First, how does it look? The new freeze has a shocking rich blue with a splash of sour green. It’s incredibly bright and colorful, perfect for any casual aesthetic pictures. Now let’s look at how much it costs. A regular size rings in at $2.69, but if you swing by a Taco Bell between 2 and 5pm, it’s only one dollar! That’s quite a steal!
Now for the most important part obviously, flavor. The blue raspberry part of the freeze is very subtle but lacks the intense flavor you would expect from such a bright color. On the other hand, the green apple is so sour that it hits you with a surprising punch. Now if you have had the blue raspberry Icee, do not expect the same flavor! While the Icee counterpart of this drink is sweet and fruity, this freeze is a completely different style and mix. If you are a fan of sour candies and other mouth puckering foods, this drink is a great thing to try. On the contrary, if you just want a sweet drink to eat with some delicious food, there are many other Taco Bell freezes to enjoy. Tasting these delectable treats are more than worth it since it comes at such a great low price, and thanks to the new Taco Bell close by, the new freeze is right next door!

The Avalon Atlanta
Written by: Jackson Hutchins
Weekends can be hard to plan if you do not have the inside scoop on where to go or what to do near you. Local resident, Robby Kelley, has experienced this his whole life, that is until he found one place that sticks out- the Avalon!
The Avalon is a shopping center in Alpharetta, GA. According to Kelley, “it has many high-end shops for me to keep up my swag.” After getting his “swag on,” Kelley has generally worked up an appetite, so he goes to get his favorite treat at the Avalon- ice cream! Robby goes on to talk about how awesome “the ice cream place” is, and how everyone should try it. Robby’s favorite memory of the Avalon is going into the Tesla store and blasting Blueface on the radio. The best part was that the car salesmen didn’t even yell at him; instead, they just laughed.
That’s the thing about the Avalon- the atmosphere is welcoming no matter what you are doing. So, if you need something fun to do on the weekend, go check out the Avalon for yourself, and be sure to get yourself an ice cream while you are at it!
